Initially, I frustrated with the busts of Charlie Munger and Warren Buffett that were available in the market.  I felt compelled to use my artistic skill to create something extraordinary.

 

As the process went on, I realized I wasn't satisfied with creating just another sculpture-- I wanted to create something that would inspire others to push their own limits, just as these two titans have inspired generations of investors.

 

In creating this bronze sculpture, I embodied Charlie Munger's principle that "preparation is the key to success".  Just as Munger and Buffett pushed the boundaries of value investing, I challenged my artistic limits to create something extraordinary.

 

The journey of creating this masterpiece was undeniably challenging.  Munger's words, "It's not supposed to be easy. Anyone who finds it easy is stupid," resonated deeply with my creative process.  The year-long sculpting journey required three attempts to achieve my vision.  Even just weeks before completion, I had to reconstruct the facial features and modify the armature.  Throughout this process, I refused to settle for anything less than  excellence.

 

Following Buffett's approach of "doing what others won't do today, to accomplish what others can't do tomorrow,"  I pushed myself to capture not just their physical likeness, but the essence of their legendary partnership.  These pieces of Munger and Buffett represent what they have consistently preached: the power of patience, the pursuit of excellence, and the willingness to do the hard work that others won't. Through this sculpture, their enduring wisdom and unwavering principles will continue to inspire future generations.
