As a shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway, Yu Shu, listens to lectures from Mr. Charlie Munger and Mr. Warren Buffett’s on life, business, and investment. They are the giants in her eyes; someone whom she has come to admire and respect. One of her favorite quotes from them is, “Do what you love, and then you will never work again.” She was deeply inspired and is determined to make her art career grow. Yu Shu was born in China and came to the United States to pursue her art career. She has been fortunate to be able to be successful in this pursuit. After attending both the Daily Journal and Berkshire meetings over these past ten years, she was inspired to create life-size sculptures of Mr. Munger and Mr. Buffett. She is pleased that it is now completed. She has elected to bronze a limited number of 100 signed pieces each. Because of her enormous admiration for these men, it is her hope that through this piece, others will remember their wit, their immense contributions to the world of finance and their unwavering generosity. She was saddened to learn the death of one of her heroes, Mr. Charlie Munger. It is with sadness that she witnessed the passing of someone she admired, and with pride that she offers him this tribute.
